From the initial cake tasting, to the day the cake was delivered to our wedding venue, we had nothing short of an excellent experience. Nili, who we primarily dealt with, was fantastic throughout and always made us feel like she really cared. The design of the cake was exactly what we wanted and we are so grateful to Nili for working so closely with us to ensure that. We ended up going with three flavors for our cake, (each tier being a different flavor). We chose lemon, mango, and white cake with fresh fruit. They were all absurdly tasty. My favorite was the mango. It tastes like a light fluffy white cake with a perfect hint of mango goodness. I'm not sure if people always say this at weddings, but we had multiple guests gushing that it was the best cake they had ever eaten. Ultimately, we could not be happier with our experience, from start to finish. We highly recommend this place for your wedding cake, birthday cake, or simply a delicious pastry and coffee."

My fiance and I have ordered our wedding cake from Sara J and have received excellent service.  The staff there have been very attentive and eager to give us exactly what we want.  I was even able to go in recently to approve the color of fondant they will use on one layer of the cake.  Chef Bruno went back to the kitchen three times to make sure he got the color exactly as I wanted it.  Nili is also incredibly helpful.

No matter where you live in the Valley (or even below the hill... gasp!), Sara J is a gem of a bakery well-worth the trip to the West Valley.  In fact, you should stop reading this right now and GO!"

Besides the pastry that are to die for, lunch is awesome. Great salads and sandwiches with a Mediterranean flare are on the menu. SaraJ supplies many of the local restaurants with deserts, so be sure to kill yourself after a great lunch...
